What do Alonzo Bodden and Winona Rider have in Common?
I might do it, I just might go through the humilation of trying stand up comedy. It has always been a dream of mine. But last night I felt like I might try it. A big reason why I started this blog was to see what kind of material I could come up and work on getting ideas flowing in the way that may come across has funny to the everyday reader (audience). Well last night while I was watching Last Comic Standing, the only reality show I’ll watch, I had an epiphany. A comic named Alonzo Bodden did a bit that was also exactly like one of my recent blogs (“Put down your phone old man”). I couldnt believe it. Damn, if he could write something like that and be willing to go on national television maybe I should try my hand at the experience. I mean there was one part of his bit that came out word-for-word from my blog. It was a good feeling. I’m almost 100% sure that I would never try stand up but it makes me think.
high point - Uhhh my original material blatently ripped off by a professional stand up (your welcome Alonzo, that was my spanish name in 8th grade)
